Description

This unit includes whole group and individual activities for teaching students about identity and privilege. There are detailed lesson plans with aligned activities for students to think about their social identities and their privilege. The goal is for students to build understanding and awareness about who they are, their privilege, and how they can use their privilege to help others. This unit was a labor of love built out of social justice conversations with my class. It’s my best effort in creating opportunities to explore identity development with middle schoolers. Click preview for a closer look:
